The centre conducts a number of cultural cooperation programs with other counter centres and institutions overseas; some of which are the following:
• Establishing “Oman Center for Arabic Language and Culture” in the Belarussian Governmental University. It compasses a library and classes for teaching Arabic and disseminating its culture.
• Establishing an “Omani Corner” at the library of Leibniz Modern Oriental Studies Center in Germany, and funding “Oman Research Grant” in the field of Omani studies.
• Collaborating with “Oriental Manuscripts Institute” in the Russian city of Petersburg; specializing in maintaining and restoring manuscripts.
• Working as a “Focal Point” for the Sultanate of Oman in the United Nations Alliance of Civilization (UNAOC). The centre is mandated to represent the Sultanate of Oman in attending periodic meetings of the UNAOC focal points, and participating in its annual forums, and supervising the Sultanate of Oman annual plan implementation concerned with achieving the UNAOC objectives. It is worth a mention that the UNAOC objectives are represented in reinforcing dialogue, peace and understanding between civilizations and nations.
